AS I READ THE MORNING PAPER WITH THE NEWS ABOUT IRAQ, I
STOPPED TO REFLECT ON THE CONDITIONS JUST PRIOR TO "A DAY THAT WILL
LIVE I INFAMY."
I LISTENED TO THE SURVIVORS RECOUNT ABOUT THE DAY AND ONE VETERAN SAYING
THE COUNTRY SHOULD GET UP OFF THEIR FAT BUTTS.  HOW IT SEEMS TO
REPLAY IN TODAY’S NEWS .  THE BAKER COMMISSION COMPOSED OF
EX-CLINTON STAFFERS WHO GAVE THE COUNTRY AWAY WHEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE TO
GET OFF THEIR BUTTS. PRESIDENT’S CARTER BOOK ABOUT THE ISRAEL CONFLICT
AND HE CAN SEE NO REASON FOR ISRAEL DEFENDING ITSELF AS A NATION UNDER
ATTACK. HOWARD DEAN, DEMOCRAT CHAIRMAN , STILL COMPLAINING ABOUT THE
ELECTION IN FLORIDA THAT WAS CERTIFIED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA. HE SHOULD
BE MORE CONCERNED AND APPLYING HIS ENERGY TO KEEPING OUR COUNTRY FROM
COMING UNDER ANOTHER ATTACK. HE SHOULD TELL MS. JENNINGS THE SAME. TO GET
UP OFF THEIR FAT BUTTS AND DO SOMETHING TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY. A FINAL
ARTICLE EXPLAINED HOW A MOTHER OF A SOLDIER IN IRAQ WAS SENDING THE BOYS
SILLY STRING TO PROTECT THEM FROM TRIP WIRES IN THE AREAS THEY MUST
FIGHT. ANOTHER ARTICLE EXPLAINED HOW THE BOYS WERE CONVERTING THE
EQUIPMENT WITH OLD METAL AND BULLET PROOF GLASS TO MAKE THE HUMMVEE’S
SAFER.  IT DOES NOT SOUND THEIR READY TO CUT AND RUN AS THE NEWS
PAPERS AND POLITICIANS WOULD HAVE US BELIEVE. I ALSO WANT OUR BOYS TO
COME HOME BUT NOT UNDER THE LIES AND DECEIT CURRENTLY BEING FOSTERED BY
PEOPLE THAT BELIEVE WE SHOULD BE AGAIN "SITTING ON OUR BUTTS".
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND PROTECT OUR BOYS FROM THE LIKES OF OUR
POLITICIANS.
